APARTMENT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
2-3 days a week
We are seeking a RELIABLE Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with at least 1 year of maintenance experience who came work independently to keep all buildings and common areas well-maintained, safe, and operating at their best.

Duties include but are not limited to: Cleaning, maintaining, and repairing building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, window and door screens, flooring material, gutters, and drains. Maintenance duties involving minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs. Make ready units for new move-ins. Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, blowing of breezeways. Performs minor electrical maintenance, minor plumbing maintenance, minor painting, carpentry and masonry work install appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers/dryers
• Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate concerns.
• Able to work flexible hours
• Basic knowledge of general repairs
• Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents and management

Qualifications
• 1-2 years of directly related or closely related experience
• Knowledge of general maintenance

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50lbs. following appropriate safety procedures: Ability to climb ladders and work at heights above ground level (maximum 12-16 ft).
