Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position offers a flexible schedule with both day and night shifts available. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply.

Shift Details

• Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
• Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (06:00 - 18:30)

Location

This position may float between various units in the following locations:

• Milwaukie, OR
• Newberg, OR
• Portland, OR
• Hood River, OR
• Willamette Falls, OR
• Seaside, OR
• Saint Vincent, OR

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care in a dynamic ER environment.
• Float to other units based on skills and patient care needs.
• Adhere to standard protocols and procedures for patient management.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Oregon.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of ER nursing experience required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a plus.

Patient Care Details

As an ER RN, you will be caring for patients of all age ranges and handling various typical emergency cases. Our facility is a certified stroke center.

Additional Information

• Weekend shifts are required, but no more than every other weekend.
• 48-hour work weeks are not approved for this position.
• A vehicle is required for transporting to and from assignments.
• No on-call shifts are required.
• Orientation is mandatory and will last approximately 24 hours.

Please note that it is common for travelers to float to different units, and refusal to float may lead to termination of the assignment. A communication device may be provided for use during the assignment.
