Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist in Riverton, UT. Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other tests. Enter patient information accurately and promptly. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Carry out administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Current or prior experience with Labcorp. One or more years of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completion of a training program from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
