Dietary Supervisor

As an employer, we seek to provide an environment of growth and development for our employees that is consistent with recognizing the rights, needs, and wants of all people.Purpose:To oversee the administration and coordination of nutritional services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Qualifications:Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug ScreeningsMust possess a valid Driver's License with all necessary endorsements and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.At least two years of supervisory experience preferredMust possess basic computer skillsExperience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferredFood service experience in healthcare setting is preferredEssential Functions:Interview, hire, train, and supervise dietary department employees (applying Sunrise tools/ resources)Schedule and monitor employee hours (payroll) and daily responsibilitiesMonitor adherence to department standards and complete annual performance evaluationsTrack and order food, beverages, and supplies based on necessary par levels and emergency suppliesOversee department food preparation, portions, food presentation & accuracy of textures as prescribedInspect and monitor supplies, daily preparation/temperature records, equipment, and work areasEnsure employees comply with all health and food safety standardsAssist in food preparation and delivery process of meals as neededReport for Department-related emergencies with on-call statusOrganize and support preparation for special functions and assist in annual fiscal inventory processAssist Registered Dietitian in updating and revising cycle menusMaintain communication lines with other interdisciplinary departments on any dietary or department changesMaintain Dietary staff up to date on mandatory training and conduct department related meetings as neededPerforms all other duties as assignedThis position will remain open until filled.
