Are you a Massage Therapist looking for a meaningful way to use your skills and make a difference in the lives of others? Grace Hospice is looking for a compassionate Hospice Massage Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team. In this unique role, you'll provide therapeutic massage to patients receiving hospice care, helping promote comfort, relaxation and overall well-being. You'll have the flexibility to coordinate your patient visits while working alongside an incredible team of nurses, social workers, chaplains, hospice aides and other professionals who share a commitment to compassionate, personalized care. What You'll Do

• Provide therapeutic massage based on each patient's individual needs and plan of care.
• Complete initial assessments and develop an appropriate massage therapy plan in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Adapt massage techniques and visits based on changing patient needs, comfort and preferences.
• Coordinate your patient visit schedule while considering care needs, team meetings and priorities.
• Communicate observations and relevant updates with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Provide services with compassion, professionalism and respect for patient dignity, privacy and individual wishes.

What We're Looking For

• Massage therapy education and credentials meeting applicable professional requirements.
• At least one year of clinical massage therapy experience; two or more years preferred.
• Hospice, home health or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Geriatric massage training or experience preferred.
• Compassionate and adaptable approach to working with patients and families.
• Strong communication, organization and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while being an engaged member of a collaborative care team.
