Step into a dynamic contract position delivering school-based occupational therapy services near Potts Camp, MS, with the opportunity to support students from Pre-K through 12th grade. This rewarding role begins September 9, 2026, and runs through June 30, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week. You’ll provide therapy across four school sites—with two conveniently located just minutes apart—serving a caseload of approximately 25 students as part of a collaborative approach with another provider.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and current Occupational Therapist license for MS
• Prior experience in school-based OT settings preferred
• Proficiency in evaluating and managing pediatric therapy needs across a wide age and ability spectrum
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to travel between multiple nearby sites as needed
• Reliable organizational and documentation skills to maintain IEP compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students from Pre-K to 12, addressing a range of developmental, fine motor, sensory, and self-care goals
• Participate in IEP meetings, write goals, and provide input on student needs and progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes
• Maintain timely and accurate session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
• Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of a diverse caseload in multiple school environments
• Support transitions between school sites as assigned within a manageable travel radius
