Responsibilities:

• Support divisional finance leadership with monthly analysis and internal reporting of financial statements

• Prepare and post recurring journal entries for assigned entities on a monthly cycle

• Perform account reconciliations and flag variances for review and resolution

• Compile departmental overhead detail as part of the monthly close process

• Assist in drafting commentary explaining budget-to-actual and period-over-period variances

• Enter, validate and maintain financial data within enterprise financial systems

• Maintain project-level budget records and update them as revisions are approved

• Track cost activity by project and prepare reporting against approved budget figures

• Build and maintain recurring Excel reports and schedules used across the finance function

• Assist with preparation of the annual budget and quarterly reforecast updates

• Help test and adopt automation and AI-enabled tools that streamline recurring reporting work

• Gather schedules and supporting documentation for internal and external audit requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required

• 1-3 years of finance or accounting experience required

• Exposure to cost accounting within a project-based or capital-intensive environment preferred

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables and working with large data sets

• Familiarity with enterprise finance and accounting systems

• Solid analytical instincts paired with clear written and verbal communication
