Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in an interventional vascular/IR lab environment within a hospital or medical center setting.

Shift Details

• Work Schedule: 4x9 hour shifts, from 0700 to 1630
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Holiday Rotation: Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)
• Weekend Call: 6-8 days per month, including every 4th or 5th weekend, based on staffing

Job Responsibilities

• Perform interventional vascular and radiological procedures with proficiency.
• Manage patient care and ensure a high standard of practices within the lab.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 24 months of interventional vascular/IR lab experience in a hospital or medical center setting is required.
• Licensure: An Iowa Radiology license is highly preferred; consideration will be given to candidates in the licensing process.
• Certifications:
  • Active ARRT, RCIS, or CCI credential is required.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in the Cardiac Cath Lab and endovascular procedures is preferred. Proficiency in thrombolytics is required.

Additional Requirements

• Documented work history demonstrating relevant experience.
• A skills checklist specific to interventional vascular/IR lab must be completed.
• Professional references from previous supervisors or management within the last 24 months are preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
