Accounting Manager - Manufacturing (Global)

Accounting Manager - Manufacturing (Global) New opening with an International Manufacturing company overseeing all financial operations including general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial statement preparation, operational accounting (accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash management), as well as Cost Accounting / Inventory. This position will lead a team of 2, and will directly report to the CFO. Benefits: Strong base pay Fantastic benefits: health, dental, vision, and more Growing company within a stable industry Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and reporting Responsible for all Cost Accounting / Inventory, including coordination with external auditors Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls Manage the general ledger accounting and ensure accurate and timely financial statements Responsible for oversight of all accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit, and collections Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance Prepare and present financial reports to senior management Coordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor budget performance Ensure compliance with all applicable tax and accounting standards, regulations, and laws Manage monthly and year-end closing of the books in a timely manner Research accounting issues for compliance Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reportingDevelop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls Management of the ERP system (upgrades, reporting, implementations / integrations) Ad hoc projects as they arise Requirements: Manufacturing / Tangible Product Industry highly preferred CPA highly preferred 5-8+ years of relevant experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent Experience managing all aspects of Accounting & Finance, including accounting operations, benefits, payroll, and partnering with CPA firm for taxes Ability to be a strategic business partner to leadership Seniority level: Mid-Senior level Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr SDL Search Partners
