Wilshire at Lakewood Rehab Center We are looking for candidates to join our housekeeping team in maintaining a clean well‑presented facility. This role maintains a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and tidy environment for residents, staff, and visitors at the facility. Housekeeping Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Professional Cleaning Experience a plus. Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of residents and/or guest. Must successfully complete thorough background screen. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position. Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English to complete work efficiently, effectively, and courteously. Housekeeping Duties Perform day‑to‑day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established housekeeping procedures. Remove linens, towels, bedspreads, and blankets to launder. Pick up and empty trash containers in resident rooms, common spaces, and office areas. Clean floors (sweeping, vacuuming, wet/dry mopping). Remove dust, dirt, grease, film, etc. from surfaces, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions. Keep walls, windows, ceilings, mirrors, etc. clean, using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
