Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $22 - $28 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Metal Fabricator:

• Assisting with loading and unloading tools and materials at the jobsite
• Using hand tools and benders to construct sheet metal components, cold boxes, and components
• Installing ridged and flex duct, as well as ceiling and wall vents
• Checking refrigerants and other components with gauges and meters
• Working alongside a journeyman sheet metal worker to complete a variety of tasks and gain on-the-job experience

Available shifts:

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
• One year of experience in residential or commercial work preferred
• Basic math skills- addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division on the fly
• OSHA 10 preferred - please contact your local branch about how we can provide you with OSHA training
• Able to lift 50 pounds repeatedly to load and unload metal and other materials as well as carry needed tools to and from the jobsite
• Take pride in your strong work ethic, positive mindset, and desire to improve
• They will need experience using a Sedan S30 16 gauge sheetmetal folder
• Tinsmith10 Sheetmetal sheer bendinging and rolling metal to fit the job
• Need gloves and safety glasses ans well as closed toed shoes or boots preferred
