Job Summary

The Customer Experience Intern supports West Bends Customer Experience team by analyzing customer feedback policy data and digital experience insights to help improve policyholder and agent experiences. This role assists with Voice of Customer (VoC) reporting customer journey measurement customer experience initiatives and data storytelling. The intern will gain hands-on experience using survey platforms Power BI Databricks and Google Analytics to identify trends uncover opportunities and transform data into actionable insights that support customer-focused business decisions.

Work Location

This position is an in-office role located in West Bend WI. No remote opportunities for this position are available at this time.

Customer Experience Intern

Turn Customer Feedback into Meaningful Business Insights

As a Customer Experience Intern youll help uncover what customers are saying how theyre engaging with us digitally and where we can create better experiences. Youll work directly with customer feedback policy data and digital experience insights to identify trends measure customer journeys and support strategic initiatives that influence business decisions across the organization.

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in analytics business intelligence customer research customer experience or data storytelling.

What Youll Do

Youll partner with our Customer Experience team to:

• Analyze customer feedback data policy data and digital experience metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Support Voice of Customer (VoC) reporting and help surface meaningful insights from customer surveys and feedback channels
• Measure customer journeys and help evaluate the experiences of policyholders and agency partners across key touchpoints
• Assist with customer experience initiatives designed to improve satisfaction loyalty and ease of doing business with West Bend
• Assist in managing dashboards visualizations and reports that transform complex data into actionable business recommendations
• Monitor customer experience trends and help identify emerging pain points and opportunities
• Support the development and maintenance of customer personas and journey maps
• Collaborate with business partners across the organization to bring a customer-focused perspective to decisions and projects

Tools & Technology Youll Learn

This internship offers hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms and tools including:

• Power BI
• Databricks
• Google Analytics
• Customer survey and Voice of Customer platforms
• Customer journey mapping and experience measurement tools

Youll learn how organizations use data technology and customer insights together to drive meaningful improvements in the customer experience.

What Were Looking For

• Current college student pursuing a bachelors degree in Business Data Analytics Marketing Mathematics Information Management Economics Statistics or a related field
• Interest in customer experience business intelligence analytics or research
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings in a clear and meaningful way
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Curiosity initiative and a desire to learn new tools and technologies

Experience with Power BI Google Analytics SQL survey platforms or data visualization tools is helpful but not required.

Salary Statement

The hourly pay for this position is $21.00 .
