Registered Nurse (RN) In Intensive Care Unit/Med Surg

Job Type: Travel

Shift: Rotating

Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0700-1930 and 1900-0730)

Experience: 2+ Years Critical Care and ICU Experience, 1 Year of Travel Experience

License: Valid Nursing License in Minnesota

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Must-Have: Med Surg and Telemetry Trained, Ability to insert IVs, Adult Population Experience, Epic Experience

Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing compassionate, quality care that is customer and family focused. The RN assesses, diagnoses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents care of customers according to hospital and care center policies and standards of professional nursing practices. The RN is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered. The RN defines, implements, and improves practice standards and the environment of care while promoting exceptional customer care. Duties may vary based on the assigned customer care center, which may include differences in the required specific clinical skills. Clinicians are expected to float to Med Surg on a regular basis. The RN actively and consistently demonstrates the mission, vision, values, and guiding principles of the organization.
