IT Delivery Manager

job summary:
Randstad Digital is seeking an experienced, technically excellent, operationally focused Delivery Manager to support a key Financial Services client. This role is crucial for executing delivery excellence, including achieving high client satisfaction, financial forecast management and accuracy, providing day-to-day talent engagement, and bringing new ideas and continual improvement to the engagement.

Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, Hybrid Schedule: 2 - 3 days onsite, 2-3 days remote

Job Duties - Key Responsibilities

• Talent Management & Performance
• Operational Execution: Drive the day-to-day execution of services
• Team Support: Serve as the first point of contact for team resources regarding project status, process questions, and general support.
• Performance Governance: Conduct weekly/monthly governance tailored to each role and participate in monthly 1:1 meetings with each team member to review overall project status and deliverables. Facilitate monthly team meetings to review high-level project status, collaborate on best practices, and identify Continual Service Improvement (CSI) opportunities.
• Coaching and Development: Evaluate performance based on key metrics and internal/client feedback, providing coaching & technical assistance. Work closely with Service Line technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and support continuous improvement.
• Talent Scorecards: Implement and manage the talent scorecard system, providing prompt coaching for Tier 3 (requires assistance) resources to ensure readiness for seamless replacements.
• Process Governance and Execution
• Resource Onboarding, compliance, and training: Support the Delivery Director in managing onboarding activities, including:
• Timecard and project-specific instructions, including weekly timesheet submission and approval
• Facilitate introduction of new team members, outline mandatory training program and expectations, conduct Knowledge Transfer (KT), and submit necessary system access requests.
• Ensure resource compliance, conduct screenings, and perform identity verification
• Assist with laptop Setup and provide support as needed
• Risk and Escalation: Oversee the project, track progress, and serve as a resource for proactive risk and issue identification, escalating concerns to the Delivery Director.
• Operational Governance: Participate in Weekly/Bi-Weekly/Monthly Operational governance meetings with the client team and the Randstad Delivery Director.
• Continuity: Proactively plan for resource transitions and backfills, maintaining a warm replacement bench to minimize the risk of engagement downtime.

Financial Management:

• Collaborate with the Delivery Director to ensure accuracy of all financial workbooks and monthly forecasts
• Manage the engagement roster and keep current as changes occur
• Review all monthly invoices for accuracy
• Work closely with the Finance, PMO, Contract Management, and Billing teams

qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills

B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Proven client relationship management experience

Ability to effectively manage a large team spread across multiple geographies

Demonstrated experience in a Delivery Management or similar role (preferably with a background in the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance industries).

Strong analytical, facilitation, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Proven capacity to efficiently multi-task and work towards issue resolution in a timely manner.

Familiarity with systems development methodologies, formal documentation processes, and the software development lifecycle.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments is strongly preferred.

Familiarity with or technological experience relevant to Application Development, Data Engineering, and AI.

Experience with Google Suite is a plus
