Description

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift MRI Technologist with ER experience and at least 1 year of MRI/X-ray experience for a 13-week travel contract.

Details

• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, set consecutive nights
• MRI Tech role within the Radiology/Cardiology department
• ER patient population with X-ray procedure duties including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging
• MRI scope includes abdomen/pelvis, brain, head and neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiac imaging with/without contrast
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float between sister facilities within the system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• BLS and ARRT MR certification required
• Washington state license required if applicable; compact license must be in hand at submission
• ER setting experience required
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, and peripheral IV starts
• Adult acute care and adult outpatient work setting experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Returning Providence staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for a travel contract but may be accepted at a lower bill rate
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem staff
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of application, with minimal flexibility post-offer
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Pending license candidates may be considered
