Mechanical Journeyman

General Motors is seeking a Mechanical Journeyman to support Engineering & Maintenance in our automotive manufacturing operations. In this on-site role, you will install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on production equipment, including conveyors, presses and robotics. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, interpret technical drawings, and drive root-cause problem solving to maximize uptime. Working in GM’s safety- and innovation-focused culture, you’ll collaborate with engineering and production teams while gaining exposure to advanced EV and automated manufacturing technologies.
