Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Day Shift)ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Emergency Department (Day Shift) in Lansing, Michigan.LocationLansing, MIAssignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Schedule/ShiftSchedule includes weekend requirements, with 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule. Shift hours are from 07:00 to 19:30.Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department of a Level 1 Trauma Center, you will care for a diverse patient population, providing essential treatment to infants, children, and adults in emergency situations. You will work in a fast-paced environment alongside interdisciplinary support teams to ensure top-quality patient care.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.Assist in the triage process and management of patients presenting with various conditions.Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.Utilize EPIC for charting and documentation.Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as necessary.Maintain patient safety and comfort while responding to emergency situations.Required ExperienceMinimum of 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience.Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.Proficient in EPIC charting.Experience in pediatric emergency care is preferred.Certifications/LicensureActive state RN license.ACLS certification.BCLS certification by AHA.PALS certification.TNCC certification.ENPC certification is preferred.NIH Stroke Scale certification.About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
