Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
- Call required
- Weekends required
- Holiday coverage required
- No block scheduling available
Candidate Type: Local & Travel Candidates Accepted
Compensation:
- Local Pay Rate: $55 - $61/ hr on W2
- Travel Weekly Gross Pay: $2308 - $2452/ week (Includes taxable and non-taxable amount)
Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center in Atlanta, is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Responsibilities:
- ssess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care throughout the perioperative process.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies.
- Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention protocols.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
- Respond effectively in emergency and trauma situations.
- Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required.
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.

- Minimum recent Operating Room nursing experience.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Level I Trauma Center experience required.
- Strong OR clinical and technical skills.
- Current BLS certification.

- Burn Center experience preferred.
- dditional perioperative certifications (CNOR preferred).
- Experience with a wide variety of surgical specialties.
