Responsibilities Cook Diamond Grove Center is searching for a skilled and experienced Cook for our Dietary Department. This position will be full‑time, with hours of 5:00 am‑2:00 pm and 11:00 pm‑7:30 pm, and working weekends occasionally. Diamond Grove Center is an 85‑bed behavioral psychiatric hospital located in Louisville, Miss. The facility serves children, adolescents, and adults with inpatient and residential care, treating an average of 1,000 patients annually. As a Cook you will maintain the standards of food preparation and service set by the Dietitian and Dietary Supervisor. Prepare all meals for patients, staff, and special functions; adjust recipes for census; communicate effectively with staff from different departments; respond positively to changing work environments; work professionally; and complete all tasks and assignments in a timely manner. Follow the cleaning schedule and perform other duties as assigned. Preferred: SERV Safe Food Safety Management Certification.
