Outpatient Pediatric Renal Clinic

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Pediatric Nephrology (Renal) for an outpatient clinic assignment in Norfolk, VA.

This role focuses on supporting pediatric renal patients in a clinical setting through patient intake, assessments, and care coordination. The RN will not be performing dialysis or renal treatments.

Requirements

? Active RN license
? Minimum 1 year of recent Pediatric Nephrology (Renal) experience
? Outpatient and/or clinic experience preferred
? Strong pediatric assessment and patient education skills
? BLS Certification (AHA preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform patient intake for pediatric nephrology patients
• Obtain and document vital signs, health histories, and assessments
• Coordinate care and communicate with providers and families
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records
• Support daily clinic operations and patient flow
