Intern-Legal Administrative Assistant
SECURA
This position supports the Claims Legal Team by assisting with administrative tasks associated with the legal/litigation process. Throughout the school year, this position is part-time 15-25 hours per week based on class schedule and our company’s business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. During the summer and breaks, the position is 40 hours per week. RESPONSIBILITIES Review incoming correspondence and route to appropriate staff for further handling Review invoices for legal and expert services and process payments to appropriate claims Set up new litigation files, including data entry, transmission of electronic files, and drafting correspondence Other duties and projects as assigned within the Claims Legal team QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL Currently enrolled in an Administrative Professional degree program, Paralegal degree, or similar related program Basic computer software knowledge (Microsoft Suite, e-mail, accessing and updating databases) Outstanding attention to detail #J-18808-Ljbffr
