Warehouse Associate

Warehouse AssociateWe are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with other team members to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.Key Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of orders against packing slips or invoices.Unload, unpack, and stock incoming inventory in designated warehouse locations.Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to picking lists or instructions.Prepare orders for shipping by properly packaging items and labeling packages with shipping information.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks in a safe and responsible manner.Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse by keeping aisles clear and shelves neat.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment and inventory management.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (certification may be required).Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software are a plus.Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.Benefits:Competitive hourly wage.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.Opportunities for advancement and professional development.Positive and supportive work environment with a diverse and inclusive team.If you are a motivated and reliable individual with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply for the Warehouse Associate position at JMI Resource.
