About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy position involves providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Location: New Hyde Park, NY Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time, Evening shift What You'll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate the cost-effective use of supplies and medications. Maintain constant vigilance over patient care and safety precautions. Provide emotional support and communicate effectively with patients and families. Administer prescribed treatments and medications accurately. Educate patients and families on drug interactions and health conditions. Collaborate with care team members on treatment regimens. Perform variance analysis related to outcome data for performance improvement. Assist physicians during treatments and diagnostic procedures. Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience At least 1 year of pre- and post-op experience in acute care preferred. Licenses & Certifications Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
