Polysomnographic Technologist

$2521.44/week - Job Summary: Perform advanced diagnostic imaging procedures using CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment planning. Ensure patient safety, provide excellent patient care, and maintain operational efficiency of imaging equipment. Responsibilities: Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment following established protocols and safety standards. Position patients accurately for CT scans, utilizing positioning devices and protective equipment as needed. Assist radiologists during routine and interventional CT procedures. Evaluate and optimize image quality, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, contacting service technicians when necessary. Document all procedures and patient information accurately in electronic health records, including charges and supplies. Qualifications: Hold ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and Computed Tomography (CT). Possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Have at least two (2) years of experience as a CT Technologist. Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and contrast administration. Exhibit strong knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles.
