About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Los Angeles, California, 90033!
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: RN - ER Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week (3 or 4x12s) Experience: Preferred experience in an acute care facility License: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required Certifications: - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required - National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required Must-Have: Recent Epic experience Description: Centered in a leading healthcare provider since 1913. A 353-bed hospital with a vast scope of services. Recognized for performance excellence with the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award in 2019. Promotes wellness in the community through various programs. Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff. Coordinates care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment. Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues. Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan and coordinates care delivery. Evaluates progress toward attaining outcomes. Collaborates with the patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care. Provides learning opportunities for patients and team members. Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Commits to the safety and wellbeing of associates and patients. Requires all associates to receive necessary vaccinations as a condition of employment. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
