Our busy Endodontic (root canal specialty) dental practice is searching for a dedicated, reliable dental assistant who can contribute enthusiasm and positivity everyday. We need someone who is eager to learn new material while performing endodontic procedures. The ideal candidate for this position has experience working with the public, an outgoing personality, hard working and, most importantly, a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures ensuring comfort and readiness
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean work environment
• Handle dental instruments effectively during procedures
• Assist with dental X-rays and manage radiographic equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment documentation
• Implement infection control protocols rigorously
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in dental assisting
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of dental radiography techniques
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and sterilization techniques
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a dental team
