Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

License: Current RN License eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)


Must-Have:
1 year of experience in telemetry, inpatient only
Experience and competence in drug titration


Description:
Position oversees patient care for all age groups.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities.
Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and established guidelines of nursing practice.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Performs duties in a manner consistent with mission, values, and service standards.
Significant standing and walking required during duty hours.
Meets unit-specific physical demands, including bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
May be required to work differing schedules or shifts according to patient care requirements.
High risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
Utilizes nursing process to provide patient care for those post-trauma, surgical interventions, and with medical comorbidities.
Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care.
Evaluates care effectiveness delivered by other caregivers.
Coordinates patient care with other departments.
Performs responsibilities in alignment with mission, values, and service standards.
