Lube Technician Responsibilities And Requirements
- Perform oil/filter change and tire rotation in a timely manner, as outlined by the manufacturer
- Perform a thorough multi-point inspection on every vehicle using an iPad
- Must be able to properly identify and record the following:
- Fluid leaks
- Brake measurements and wear patterns (pads, shoes, rotors, drums)
- Tire tread depth measurements and tire wear pattern, malfunction indicator lights
- Preventative maintenance requirements, malfunctions and deformities in hoses, belts, bushings, gaskets, etc… Make proper recommendations for repairs
- ******ALL service/repair recommendations require photo/video evidence of the concern
- Open communication with advisors, parts, other technicians, office staff, and management
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Punctual
- Positive work ethic
- Motivated
- Success oriented
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license with a positive driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to do heavy lifting (up to 50lbs)
