Mechanical Assembler

Job Description A well-established manufacturing company in Huntington Beach is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their production team. Responsibilities include:
- General mechanical assembly work
- Crimp, stake, screw, bolt, rivet, weld, solder, cement, press fit, or perform similar operations to join or secure parts in place
- Mount assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel
- Connect component lead wires to printed circuit or route and connect wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points
- Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies in cases and cabinets
- Assemble and attach hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies
- Assist with shipping and packaging as needed
- 3 years of mechanical assembly experience
- 1 year of shipping or packaging experience
- Reliable with a strong attendance record
- Physical requirements: Lifting requirements of up to 50 lbs. Standing for extended periods, repetitive hand movements, use of hand tools, and working in a manufacturing environment.
