At the state, you'll find competitive compensation, a robust benefits package and a commitment to work-life balance. Most importantly, you'll have the chance to make a real and measurable impact on the lives of Hoosiers across Indiana.

About the Indiana Department of Transportation:

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) provides a dynamic workplace that serves Indiana citizens, improves our state’s quality of life, and enhances its economic opportunity. Engineers will spend time in each of INDOT's engineering departments and, upon completion of the program, will transition into their choice of assignment at INDOT; based on availability of positions, supervisor assessments, and the engineer's preference. The goal of the GEDP is to support the engineer's ability to learn as much about on-the-job civil engineering as possible, as well as fostering professional development and connecting the engineer with 100s of people at INDOT. The GEDP is designed for INDOT's future leaders.
