Injection Mold technician

Job description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection molding machines to produce high-quality plastic components. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate injection molding machines to produce plastic parts according to specifications. Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality standards are met. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues. Assemble components as needed, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks. Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process. Skills Proficiency in plastics extrusion and blow molding processes is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and machinery such as lathes. Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience in warehouse operations, including forklift operation, is a plus. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring product quality.
