This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job SummaryThe primary responsibility of the Attendant, Housekeeping (Public Areas) is to provide quality service in all Public Areas (PA) and Heart of House (HOH) spaces. Colleagues in this role must demonstrate genuine concern for guests and colleagues while ensuring friendly, safe, efficient, and professional service.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesExceeds guest expectations of Housekeeping services, being responsible for the cleanliness of PAs and HOH spaces in assigned sections, ensuring that these and all other spaces are cleaned according to One&Only standardsAdheres to the standard operating procedures about cleaning, sanitation, and set-up in PAs, HOH spaces, and other venues, as well as in Laundry and Uniform roomsEnsures that all scheduled arrival rooms are ready at the time specifiedEnsures hallways, corridors, pantries, lockers, elevators, and offices are kept tidyEnsures carpets are kept clean through daily spotting and vacuumingEnsures that all equipment is properly cared for, cleaned, and correctly stored to be in good repairConducts general and deep cleanings of trolleys, caddies, and toiletsEnsures that linens, towels, and other supplies are distributed to the correct areas and/or to Linen roomsEnsures supplies, amenities, and linens are replenishedReports all lost and found items, following related SOP to guarantee proper storage and follow-upEnsures ice machines and glasswashers are sanitizedReports flower arrangements that need replacementEnsures all defects are reported to the Executive Housekeeper immediatelyExtends appropriate greetings to all guests and colleagues at every opportunity, using names whenever possibleAdheres to One&Only standards regarding dress, appearance, and groomingDevelops a positive working relationship with all colleagues and other departments, facilitating a team-oriented atmosphereMaintains safe workplace practices as per the health and safety SOPEnsures all HOH corridors, fire staircases, changing rooms, and shower areas as per SOPAdheres to chemical utilization as per the chemical training SOPAttends training courses as required, continually striving for the improvement of their knowledge and skillsAssists with any other duties as required by the Executive Housekeeper or other members of the management teamSkills, Experience, & Educational RequirementsPrevious cleaning experience is an advantage, but is not requiredStrong knowledge of all hotel facilities, services, and working hours is preferredAbility to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers, and managers is requiredMust be able to read, write, and speak English with proficiencyAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts is essentialMaintains a positive attitude at all timesBenefitsFull-Time Year-RoundMedical insurance - 80% of premium paid by employerHealth Savings Account with $50 employer contribution per pay periodDental, vision & life insurance - 100% of premium paid by employer5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off)8 paid holidaysUniform provided & complimentary launderingComplimentary transportation to/from resortComplimentary meal per shiftSubsidized housing based on availabilityDiscounts at F&B outlets on property14 nights per year at $100/night* at Kerzner Properties worldwideWinter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipSeasonal Uniform provided & complimentary launderingComplimentary transportation to/from resortComplimentary meal per shiftSubsidized housing based on availabilityDiscounts at F&B outlets on propertyWinter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
