Our organization, located just 75 minutes north of New York City, is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled Certified Nurse Midwife to join our expanding OB/GYN team. This position is exclusively outpatient. We pride ourselves on a collaborative environment between midwives and OB-GYNs, serving a diverse patient base from various counties in the Hudson Valley. Currently, our practice includes five midwives, and we aim to expand to seven, ensuring 24/7 midwifery coverage alongside our physician partners. The ideal candidate will embrace the midwifery model that emphasizes patient empowerment, compassion, and shared decision-making. This full-time outpatient role entails working five clinic days each week (80 hours per two-week pay period), with a Monday to Friday schedule.

We are looking for a team-oriented individual with exceptional communication abilities who can easily build rapport and trust with patients and their families. A commitment to evidence-based practices, cultural sensitivity, and a passion for patient education are essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate reliability, adaptability, high clinical competence, empathy, and a dedication to lifelong learning and professional growth.

Our practice operates in Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and Highland, collaborating with seven board-certified physicians. We exclusively admit patients to Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, where our busy Labor and Delivery Unit welcomes approximately 2,800 births annually. The facility features a Level III NICU staffed by neonatologists and an outstanding Perinatology program, along with fellowship-trained breast surgeons and GYN-oncologists on-site.

$130,000 - $200,000 annually, based on experience.
