Summary

Drives gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices such as forklift, boom, lift beam and swivel hook, fork grapple, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials by performing the following duties.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience required. 3-5 years experience preferred.
• Preferred experience operating a multitude of different industrial lifting equipment 
• One year certificate from college or technical school or related experience and training
• Combilift experience preferred but not required
• Must be able to work as a team
• Provide a clean driving record 
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Work over time and weekends 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
• Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• Inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
• Inventory material in production yard, and prepare items to be loaded outgoing on 48’-53’Flatbeds
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
• Lubricates truck, recharges batteries, fills fuel tank, or replaces liquefied gas tank.
• Dump trash and metal scrap hoppers
• Has the ability to maintain a cleanliness environment
• Maintain Lean Management skills while performing task
