Work Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8-hr days between the hours of 7a-5p Department Highlights:- Patient-Focused Team

Here is what you will need:- Licensure: Valid state radiology registration as required by state law
- Certificates: Current ARRT in Mammography certification or eligible to take advanced level exam with documentation of clinical experience.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Continuing Education: MQSA/FDA- 15 CEU's every 3 years, 200-documented case numbers every 2 years.
- Experience with diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies is preferred.
A Day in the Life of a Mammography Technologist and Sonographer:- Provide services and support for the following areas:
- Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in the completion of intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
- Produce high-quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
- Produces high-quality ultrasound images and obtain appropriate measurements for each exam.
- Effectively communicate to patients the procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventative breast health.
- Maintain patient-first focus at all times and exhibit outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate on an individual and small group basis to doctors, patients, and other employees.
- Consistently practice excellent mammography positioning and exposure technique.
- Complete appropriate documentation.
- Perform quality control functions related to mammography.
- Assist in the compilation and maintenance of statistical data.
- Promote privacy and comfort for the patient.
