Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment. Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts. Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs). Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns. Conduct safety checks on vehicles and maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards. Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. Assist senior Mechanics in project work and review/complete/assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. Maintain compliance with safety procedures and participate in ongoing workplace safety initiatives. Qualifications 2 years of relevant work experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be over 18 and legally eligible to work in the United States. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations. Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical. Work environment and schedules Monday – Friday, second shift from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm; no weekends. Location: repair/maintenance shop at WM’s Jackson, GA hauling site. Stable hours aimed at financial security and work-life balance. Benefits Starting salary of $26–$32 per hour, depending on experience; up to $6 more per hour with ASE certification.
