Make an IMPACT: School-Based Mental Health Provider (LMHC, RMHCI, LCSW, RSWCI, LMFT, RMFTI)

Job Description Invo Healthcare, a proud member of The Stepping Stones Group, supports Hillsborough County schools and is looking for a dynamic, full‑time mental health professional to join our team. Potential candidates include Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns (RMHCI), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Registered Clinical Social Work Interns (RCSWI), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), and Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Interns (RMFTI). Qualifications Hold a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling Have active state‑level licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or equivalent credential Have experience working with pediatric or school‑aged children (preferred but not required) What to Expect from This Role Apply evidence‑based mental health counseling methods and techniques Utilize knowledge of local community mental health resources and collaborate with providers to advocate for student and family needs Use DSM and mental health counseling principles, procedures, and standards Work independently and maintain a consistent schedule of services for students on your caseload Develop collaborative relationships with parents, teachers, school administration, physicians, families, students, interdisciplinary teams, and other community agencies Complete biopsychosocial assessments, obtain medical history and other pertinent information Administer trauma‑informed screening and assessment tools, such as the Beck Youth Inventory and ACE Questionnaire Provide individual and group counseling, and classroom support (with signed parental consent) to focus on emotional or behavioral goals that promote enhanced school functioning Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities such as Cognitive‑Behavioral Therapy, Trauma‑Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Seeking Safety in individual, family, and group settings Support campus counselors and administrators in conducting crisis risk assessments, de‑escalating students, and providing recommendations for community/family support as appropriate Provide consultation to parents and family members regarding progress and concerns for students Complete classroom observations to monitor student progress and classroom management skills implemented Develop concrete, specific individualized treatment plans with goals, objectives, and discharge criteria to address student and family needs Collaborate with the IMPACT program Behavior Analyst to provide behavioral supports and guidance to students and school staff you support Assist in implementing behavior treatment programs and facilitate restorative justice and conflict‑resolution skills within the classroom Ensure clinical documentation is completed according to Invo policy and procedures Benefits and Experience Healthcare coverage 401(k) Life insurance PTO Competitive compensation Continuing education A dedicated clinical lead Professional liability coverage Professional development stipend Licensure reimbursement Who Is Invo Healthcare?
