Consulting Manager

Overview:We have a tremendous opportunity for a business and advisory consultant to manage client assignments, working directly with Partners to provide engagement solutions in a variety of settings, including: operational efficiency studies; internal control evaluations, policy and procedure reviews; financial reporting and analysis; cost reduction studies, and special projects. This role is ideal for professionals with an Audit or Assurance background who want to transition into broader consulting work.ResponsibilitiesWork directly with Bonadio Partners to assist clients with a variety of financial and operational studies and projectsCommunicate directly with clients to perform information gathering interviews, request data and documentation and present final reports, analyses and recommendationsConduct consulting fieldwork - interviews, walkthroughs, process-mapping exercises, data analysis, compliance testing, etc.Perform testing and analytical procedures with large datasetsWrite comprehensive reports detailing project procedures, observations, findings and recommendations, based on work completed, industry research, experience and knowledgeManage multiple ongoing consulting engagements simultaneouslySupervise consulting staff working on engagementsQualificationsRequired:A minimum of a bachelors degree in either accounting, business advisory, business analytics, project management or another related field of studyA minimum of ten years of audit accountant experienceRelated experience in either public accounting, business consulting, audit, business analytics, or related field as experience will be considered in lieu of specific degree concentrationsStrong problem solving and analytical skillsAdvanced MS Excel skillsAbility to work with a team of multi-disciplined professionalsAbility to travel if needed, travel is estimated to be about 15%Preferred:CPA licenseCFE licenseThe salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000 and is commensurate with experience.Hours Of Operation:Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through FridayOur summer hours are from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on FridayWe pride ourselves on our flexibility; however, the ability to work additional hours will be needed at peak timesAt The Bonadio Group, we believe that an inclusive work environment allows all of our people to achieve their greatest potential and the greatest results for our clients and communities.
