Account Executive | Smart Mobility & Transportation Technology

Location: U.S. Midwest | Remote (Regional Travel Required)

We're looking for an experienced, results-driven Account Executive to join an innovative global technology company developing advanced solutions for smarter, safer, and more efficient transportation systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the Midwest region , drive new business opportunities, and build long-term partnerships with government agencies, transportation authorities, and key industry stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to drive business growth across the Midwest.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with transportation agencies, municipalities, government organizations, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage distributor relationships and develop new channel partnerships.
• Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and customer engagement through proposals, negotiations, and closing.
• Identify and respond to government RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, customer meetings, and professional events.
• Manage sales forecasts, pipeline development, and CRM activities.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience selling Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions to government customers – Must.
• 2+ years of technical sales experience – Must.
• Proven track record in business development, account management, and closing complex B2B/B2G deals.
• Experience working with government transportation agencies, municipalities, and public-sector decision-makers.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes, RFPs, and long sales cycles.
• Experience managing distributors and channel partners.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Independent, proactive, commercially driven, and comfortable managing a regional territory.
• Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the assigned region.
