Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at The Orchards at Armada, a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering compassionate and professional care to our patients. As a PRN COTA, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents, providing them with personalized occupational therapy services to help them achieve their goals and maintain their independence.
About the Role:
As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant at The Orchards at Armada, you will be responsible for:
Providing occupational therapy services to our residents, including assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Utilizing Net Health and PCC documentation systems to track patient progress and maintain accurate records
Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of new programs and services
Requirements:
Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Minimum years of experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care (LTC) setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
