Also works closely with the US Team to ensure Ryder has continuity among all their warehouses. Essential Functions Maintain proper slotting configuration (Rack and Pick slots) to ensure efficiency in the warehouse Staffing performance management and development of exempt and non-exempt employees Develop and maintain inter-related computer systems that functionally support the facility in all areas of operations including production, maintenance, warehousing, and administration. Provide complete training in the use of hardware and software to users of the systems Maintain JDA WMS logic – Ensure operations is satisfied with the way WMS works in: Allocating, Putaway, Replenishment, etc. Work with operations to streamline processes and troubleshoot and correct any system problems Maintain labor management system and provide data to site leadership as required Assist in monitoring workload and assess evaluation/development plans of direct reports. Responsible for maintaining, trouble shooting, and improving on all interfaces of the WMS, material handling systems, RF devices, and other hardware (printers, label makers, etc.) Develop and maintain system SOP’s (archiving, disaster recovery, back-up procedures, system specs, etc.) Complete velocity and layout analysis and associated changes as scheduled Ensure team members acquire necessary skills and performance attributes, in line with business and personal development needs. Data entry with attention to detail and accuracy entering alpha-numeric data. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills Will be communicating with end users for majority of work time.
