CVOR RN in Redding, CA

A rewarding opportunity is now available for skilled Registered Nurses with Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) expertise. This contract role offers the chance to work in a dynamic, acute-care environment, making a real impact by supporting complex surgical cases.


Schedule & Hours:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
• Shifts may vary between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 10:45 AM - 7:00 PM
• Monday through Friday rotation
• Required on-call: 2-3 days per week depending on experience and case volume
• Every other weekend on-call coverage

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state RN license (preferred)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• At least 3 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
• Previous acute-care hospital experience
• Experience with DaVinci XI robotic surgeries highly desirable

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert CVOR nursing care throughout all phases of operative procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Prepare and maintain a sterile, organized surgical environment
• Respond promptly and effectively in high-pressure situations, including call-backs as needed
• Practice in accordance with established standards and protocols
