Be a name even the CEO knows, not just a number with this team that prioritizes celebrating employees’ wins Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as a hands-on Lead Mechanic, performing repairs and maintenance while helping guide other mechanics in the shop. Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment issues, determining the appropriate repairs without relying on constant supervision. Maintain and repair rental equipment including skid steers, excavators, and other construction equipment. Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, with a strong focus on hydraulic hoses, fittings, leaks, cylinders, and related components. Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service to keep rental equipment safe and ready for customers. Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues and complete repairs as needed, with less emphasis on major engine work. Help prioritize repairs and support other technicians with difficult troubleshooting or repair issues. Inspect completed work to ensure equipment meets company safety and quality standards before returning to service. Maintain accurate service and repair records and communicate equipment needs, parts requirements, and repair status to the appropriate team members.
