Travel RN – CVICU (Nights: 7P–7A)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours guaranteed per week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed blended ICU/CVICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio, serving adult and geriatric populations
• Manage complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repair/replacement, A-Fib RVR, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, trauma, and CRRT
• Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document care using the Medhost EHR system
• Float to the Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and provide coverage for admitted patients holding in the ED on an as-needed basis
• Fulfill call requirements as assigned by unit leadership
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Arizona (or compact eligibility)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CVICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR procedures
• Familiarity with Medhost EHR
• Experience in a Joint Commission accredited or Level III Trauma facility
