"Consistently Create Encore Experiences that Enrich Lives One Person at a Time" Position OverviewClermont - 62201This position is classified as non-exempt and reports to the Assistant Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager. Cashiers are the first point of contact for our guests and are directly responsible for delivering a great experience. You will take and enter orders, handle payments, keep the dining room and other guest areas clean, and provide excellent service to our guests by following standard operating procedures with a sense of urgency. Essential Job FunctionsThe information provided below encompasses the functions and values associated with this position. Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe individual in this position is expected to engage in the following work-related activities:Complete all training requirements including:Zaxby's UniversityHands-on stations trainingAny additional training required by ZaxBaxProvide friendly, enthusiastic service for all guestsPromptly greet guests as they enter and thank them as they leaveMaintain awareness of current promotionsExplain menu items, answer questions, and suggest additional itemsEnthusiastically represent the Zaxby's brandAccurately complete orders and guest transactionsEnter guest orders accurately into both indoor and outdoor point of sale systemsAccept payments, operate cash registers, and expedite all digital ordersHandle cash payments, count and verify tills, and record totals appropriatelyMaintain a clean, safe, welcoming environmentClean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exteriorMaintain equipment and inform management of maintenance needsStock paper goods, condiments, utensils, and beveragesKeep work areas clean and organizedPrepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary mannerPrepare beverages, sauces, produce, and other itemsEnsure food and beverages are handled according to safety regulations and guidelinesAccurately complete, package, and present guest ordersAssist with kitchen and back of house tasks as assignedOther responsibilitiesComplete all tasks with a sense of urgency, in a timely mannerWork safely and follow all safety guidelines and proceduresOther duties as assigned The following capabilities are required to perform the essential functions of this position.
