Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Code software applications that align with business requirements, ensuring high-quality standards. Standardize quality assurance procedures for software, overseeing testing and debugging while developing necessary fixes. Research complaints and make adjustments or recommendations to resolve complex software-related issues. Begin to influence departmental strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components, working independently with considerable latitude. Design and review software solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring a smooth transition to the development team. Conduct quality reviews of software and actively work to improve deliverable quality. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

• 5 or more years of mainframe experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
• COBOL coding experience.
• Agile experience
