PRN Position Details:

• Provide comprehensive speech therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
• Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic patient care
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records
• Educate patients and their families about therapy goals and strategies to support ongoing progress

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Proven experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Flexibility to work on a PRN basis, with reliable availability

Requirements:

Applicants must have an active Kentucky Speech Language Pathologist license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Kentucky license, including completion of a nationally accredited program and subsequent passing of national licensure exam. Applicants must hold Certificate of Clinical Competence or be supervised as a Clinical Fellow prior to attaining CCCs.
