About the Position

RN - Operating Room (Epic)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | 4x10-hour shifts (40 hours per week) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned patient or group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Operating Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent professional judgment
• Accurately document patient care activities and assessments within Epic and Cerner EMR systems
• Support facility-wide Epic conversion activities as part of an integrated care team

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Epic and Cerner EMR experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, including date ranges if multiple systems were used at the same organization)
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification (required)
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification (required)
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification (required)
• Must have successfully completed at least one prior employment or contract assignment; no gaps in verifiable work history

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
