Product Owner
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Product Owner to join a digital team focused on providing exemplary customer experiences for a leading automotive financial services client. This role is a key member of the team, owning responsibilities across the entire software development life cycle for projects and production support. The focus will be on driving product enhancements, supporting application launches, and partnering across business and technology teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences for customer-facing digital products, including web and mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Product team and act as a subject matter expert for Salesforce and mobile app environments.
- Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria, and manage product backlogs in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Lead agile sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and backlog management.
- Write and execute test scripts for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support other testing workstreams, triage defects, and report on results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, developers, QA teams, UX designers, and third-party vendors.
- Support nationwide customer, dealer, and field operations, including training and organizational change management.
- Maintain operations to meet SLAs through deployments, maintenance, vendor releases, incident management, and troubleshooting.
- Lead initiatives by meeting with leadership to articulate proposals, plans, and budgets to gain approvals.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, product development, or digital product operations supporting customer-facing applications.
- 5+ years of experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and regression testing.
- 2+ years of experience with Salesforce platforms, including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or related CRM solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with business, IT, internal, and external partners.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive decisions and influence outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, automotive finance, banking, lending, or payments-related environments.
- Mobile application product management or product ownership experience.
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Scrum Master, or similar Agile certification.
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or platform-related credentials.
- Experience developing product roadmaps, business cases, and strategic product plans.
- Direct people leadership or team management experience.
- Experience with release management, vendor management, and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of compliance, SOX controls, and regulated business environments.
