VP Non-QM Whole Loan Credit Underwriter

A leading mortgage-focused investment firm is seeking a VP-level Residential Whole Loan Credit Analyst with strong Non-QM underwriting experience. This individual will support loan acquisition, credit decisioning, and post-close diligence across a correspondent lending platform. Responsibilities Act as a primary contact for originators, ensuring timely post-close loan review and issue resolution Assess credit scenarios and exception requests, making approval/decline decisions and applying conditions Manage seller pipelines, acquisition timelines, and funding readiness in partnership with internal teams Communicate underwriting guidelines clearly to originators and counterparties Monitor market trends and recommend process and guideline enhancements Requirements 5-8 years of direct residential mortgage experience, with a strong focus on Non-QM underwriting Proven experience in whole loan underwriting, credit analysis, and post-close review Experience working with third-party diligence providers and correspondent channels Ability to work in a fast-paced environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Selby Jennings
